Typical of all goods created for newborns, I located this to have a incredibly brief window of use. I bought it for my 2nd youngster thinking it would be a lot easier to bathe her (only had a tub for the 1st kid). Yet, even in the reclining position, my newborn daughter tended to squirm and slide. So on top rated of all the effort of handling a wet, soapy baby, I was rushing afraid she would tip herself off the factor! So, I waited until she had much more head help and then was able to use it off on for about 2 months ahead of she started sitting up. As soon as she was able to sit up, I couldn't maintain her in seat due to the fact her legs were too robust (lots of kicking and squirming once more...but with purposeful work!).
If (goodness) I have one other baby, I'll just use a baby tub lined with a towel for help. Then as she grows older, I can at least use the tub for splash play.

I received this tub as a shower gift and thought it would be great but was incredibly disappointed. I can not put my newborn daughter in this given that she will squirm and wiggle right out of it. Bathtime was not enjoyable for either of us for the reason that there is not any genuine support there for her and even in the reclining position she can wiggle perfect out. I am now ordering a tub with the small curves and some better sides so that she is far more secure. This was a nightmare the first time I gave her a bath and I should have definetely had a numerous tub on my registry. I am ordering the other one at present with one day shipping so that I do not have to use this again. Total waste of money and just tends to make both a nervous wreck.
